Meet Alicia
Mrs. Atkins shattered barriers as the first Black woman elected to the Henrico School Board in 2019, setting a standard of trailblazing leadership. Her transformative work earned her a commanding 73% re-election victory in 2023. In 2024, she became the Board's first Black female Chair.
Governance
As delegate for Virginia's 81st district, Alicia will govern by shaping policy, enacting legislation, and drive positive changes that puts people before profit and power. She has laser focus on education, the environment, and empowerment-wellness, dignity, and leadership accountability.
